Ladies and Gentlemen! May I present maybe the best 80s t-shirt in the world!!!
The people at SoundTShirt.com have produced yet another absolutely amazing t-shirt; an 80s logo that pulsates in time with music!
In case you haven't seen their other t-shirts they are responsible for, amongst others, the amazing Tqualiser; a t-shirt with a graphic equaliser built into it, that lights up in time with any music around you, giving a real-time graphic equaliser look. Genuinely astounding.
But now, their latest creation is an 80s t-shirt. This one also lights up in time with any noise around you, but has the essential 80s logo emblazened across the front. The image to the right is actually how the t-shirt looks in real life.
The light effects change with the volume of any music you have, and the sensitivity can be altered to pick up anywhere between a human voice and full blown parrrr-tay!
Visit SoundTShirt.com to see a video of one in action, or to purchase one. You WILL be amazed.
Or.... YOU COULD WIN ONE HERE ON 80SNOSTALGIA.COM! - Click for the Competition!

Years ago I had a go at making some 80s Top Trumps. (Yes, I know, I'm probably infriging copyright by calling them that, and I'll gladly change it when I have a suitable alternative.)
If you fancy doing a Blue Peter and printing, cutting out and playing them, they are here for you all to download - Top Trumps
Feedback is appreciated, whether it's good or bad, or even if you have a suggestion for a toy that isn't already in the deck. Feel free to contact me via the email address on the "Contact Me" page in the left menu.
Remember they are just for fun and should not to be used to settle arguments or to be used to help pick an option in life-changing decisions.

If you have a few minutes spare, you must watch these short but brilliant episodes of Born In The 70s, on BornInThe70s.co.uk
Presented by Jonny and Russ, each episode has a mix of chat, features, music and games.
Features include "What Would Jim Robinson Do?" in which Russ tries to predict how Jim Robinson (who he hates) will react in clips from early Neighbours episodes, and Beat Simon where a member of the public tries to get through all 31 stages of the beeping colour-remembering game. Each episode finishes with a damn good, sing along rendition of a classic 80s theme tune.
Watch out for them playing Knightmare in real life, in a supermarket. GO LEFT!!
Genuinely funny, and completely free!

FINALLY! The 80s classic cartoon, The Raggy Dolls, is coming out on DVD.
Remember the theme tune? Fancy having a reminder? Click here to listen, or Right-click to download it.
It charted the adventures of a bunch of mis-made dolls, (Princess, Sad Sack, Pierre, Back-to-Front to name a few,) who climbed out of the reject bin and set out on adventures. Full of that little used belief system that programmes nowadays forget to teach - morals.
Absolutely quality 80s TV. Well worth buying for nostalgia purposes, and equally great to get if you didn't catch it first time around.
The DVD will be in shops from 21st June, but you can pre-order it from loads of online places.

The Littlest Hobo?!? On DVD!?!
If you were alive in the 80s, you WILL know of The Littlest Hobo. EVERYONE knows it! It was all about a German Shepherd (a dog, not a shepherd from Germany,) who wandered to a different place every episode and helped people who were down on their luck, or in trouble. His name was London.
In episode one, for example, a security guard was facing being fired when thieves kept stealing sensitive items from a warehouse he was minding. London not only helped catch the thieves, but helped to uncover that it was an inside job, so the security guard who was initially facing the sack actually got promoted!
During each episode London befriended the person in trouble and helped them out but, as soon as everything had been fixed and the person in need had been helped sufficiently, he always left. (Probably in preparation for the next episode the following week.) As the final shots of him walking off into the distance appear on screen, that gorgeous theme tune slowly fades in….
“Theres a voice, that keeps on calling me,
Down the road, that’s where I’ll always be…”
It had one of the catchiest theme tunes on the planet which, if you don’t already know it, is also downloadable from the 80sNostalgia sound archives.
Seriously, you need to buy this! The minute you put the first disc in and start episode one, your eyes will glaze over with nostalgic fuzziness.
Enjoy this for the first time on DVD, as it was absolutely awesome TV!
DVD pack contains 4 DVDs.
Extras include a sing-along version of the theme tune!
Stills gallery.
Click the image, or right here, to buy.
Until tomorrow, I'll just keep movin' on....

Sweet Mercy, STREET HAWK IS OUT ON DVD!
Enjoy for the first time ever all 13 episodes of this much loved 1980s motorcycle contender to Knight Rider.
Having watched the entire thing, I can honestly say I've not yet found a better way to spend half a day. From the hair-tingling theme tune that transports you back to being a 10 year old, the whooshing film effect of speeding through the city and the daredevil jumps, it is by far one of the best 80s TV experiences I've had.
You don't realise how full of cheesy lines it is until, with the benefit of adulthood, you watch it years later. A particular favourite line for me in the pilot (included in the box set) is when Norman introduces Jesse to the bike. The camera slowly approaches Jesse, who finally announces "..... I just wanna ride it!" Absolutely perfect 80s TV!
All the episodes, the pilot(s!), a new Street Hawk documentary and a booklet. If you want to spend a few hours in the 80s again, this is perfect!
For the official blurb:
Jesse Mach, an ex-motorcycle cop injured in the line of duty-now a police trouble shooter , has been recruited for a top secret government mission to ride Street Hawk, an all terrain attack motorcycle designed to fight urban crime, capable of incredible speeds of up to 300 mph and immense firepower. Only one man, Norman Tuttle, knows Jesse Machs true identity. The Man, The Machine, Street Hawk.
This series has never been released anywhere in the entire world on DVD - until now!
• Original Pilot Episode 73mins
• All 12 Original Episodes x 43mins
• Unbroadcasted Pilot featuring different Street Hawk firepower (73minutes)
• Street Hawk, The Making of a Legend- A brand new documentary featuring Rex Smith, Joe Regalbuto and Jeannie Wilson (41minutes)
• Stills Galleries
• Biographies
• Episode Synopses
• 8 Page Collectors Booklet
• Stunning Motion Menus
Click right here to pre-order or buy.
(I proper loved Street Hawk!)

Before the internet, before reality TV, what television series was more humourous and with more vision than "Its Garry Shandling's Show". In 1986 Garry Shandling was poised to become a permanent guest host on Johnny Carsons The Tonight Show. Instead he took a chance of an offer from fledgling network Showtime to create his own television series.
Garrys show was one of those drop-in, drop-out shows. By that, I mean you would be following the story acted out on stage as with any sitcom, but Garry would drop-out of the story to explain things to the audience and the camera that would help the story progress. The other actors would be unaware of the dialogue to the audience, and just wait until Garry had finished before continuing their lines. It made for unique TV.
Everything about it was funny. The part acting, part incisive dialogue, the situations, even the unforgettable theme song and closing credits. Absolute genius.
"It's Garry Shandling's Show" was award winning, mind bending television for 4 seasons and its influence is clearly seen in the best TV comedies through the decades to follow.
Enjoy all 16 episodes from the first of four seasons of this much loved classic on DVD March 22nd 2010.
